The Wales Center Volunteer Fire Company is a 100% volunteer agency serving the citizens of the Wales Center Fire Protection District, which is located wholly within the Town of Wales, County of Erie, State of New York. Our District covers approximately thirty-five square miles and serves a population of over two thousand five hundred residents. Our membership consists of Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Fire Police Officers, Social Members and Honorary Members. We also have an Auxiliary. Our apparatus consists of two pumper-tankers, one rescue truck, one advanced life support certified ambulance, and a 4-wheel drive ATV and rescue sled. The Wales Center Volunteer Fire Co., Inc. was incorporated in 1930.

2012 End of Call Year Report: From November 1, 2011, through October 31, 2012, the fire company responded to 195 emergency calls, including 15 fires, 19 hazardous conditions, 16 service calls, 19 good intent requests, 7 false alarms, 117 requests for emergency medical services, and 2 miscellanous incidents. Our members attended 38 drills and 97 training sessions, logging over 776 hours of instruction and over 918 hours of hands-on exercises.

2011 End of Call Year Report: From November 1, 2010, through October 31, 2011, the fire company responded to 185 emergency calls, including 124 requests for emergency medical services. Our members attended 43 drills and 63 training sessions, logging over 990 hours of instruction and over 457 hours of hands-on exercises.

2010 End of Call Year Report: From November 1, 2009, through October 31, 2010, the fire company responded to 157 emergency calls, including 94 requests for emergency medical services. Our members attended 44 drills and 75 training sessions, logging over 800 hours of instruction and over 600 hours of hands-on exercises.
